 Karaoke

Karaoke is comprised of the Japanese words “kara” (empty) and “okesutora” (orchestra). Empty means that the songs are without vocal, that is the original voice of the singer is missing, just the instruments are present. You have to sing like this, while the lyrics is visible. The text discolours in synchrony with the song, thus helping those who are interested in trying it out.

Dancepad

DDR which is short for the Japanese game Dance Dance Revolution is mainly found in arcades and is very popular in its homeland. The task is simple: you have to jump on the pad’s arrows in the right order according to the arrows seen on the monitor screen (in the case of DDR this means 4 arrows, which point up, down, left and right).
